To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the first Hard Rock Cafe in 1971, a party was held on June 11, 2022 at the Guitar Hotel at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. This is video of that event , which was attended by Steve Bourie, from the American Casino Guide book, along with his wife, Michelle, The event included a three-person parachute jump from a helicopter by the Red Bull Skydive Team to land in the hotel's swimming pool. There was also a light show displayed on the guitar hotel, synchronized to rock music and other musical hits from the past. This same company recently bought the Mirage Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas strip and they will be building another guitar hotel on that property in the future.
