If you haven't heard already, you're going to hear it first here! You guessed it, SLS is rebranding itself back to Sahara Las Vegas! Back in 2013 when SBE Entertainment bought Sahara originally, they wanted to have a resort totally catered towards millennials. So they branded it as SLS like they've done in the past in other cities. Only problem is that millennials don't gamble and that hedge wasn't a good one. Under new ownership, they've decided to to rebrand back to Sahara Las Vegas and capture some of that old school Vegas nostalgia! The current project will be undergoing a $100 Million refresh and they'll be expanding the casino, restaurants, and of course the rooms! Sahara Las Vegas is iconic and while it failed on its own, it's much more fitting than SLS Las Vegas! One thing is certain these days! The las vegas casino's still haven't figured out how to market effectively to millennials so catering fully towards them in a casino setting isn't smart!
