Steve and Matt Bourie from the American Casino Guide book, interview Keith Whyte, executive director of the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG), to discuss the issue of problem gambling and the best ways to avoid becoming a problem gambler.
The NCPG is a Washington D.C.-based group that collaborates with other organizations to help problem gamblers. Whyte has been with the organization since 1998.
Recognized widely for his expertise in responsible gaming and problem gambling policy, Whyte has given presentations in 39 US states and 21 countries. He has testified before the United States Congress four times and appeared before numerous other national, state, tribal, and local legislative and regulatory bodies. Keith is also frequently quoted in the national and international media on problem gambling issues.
