My 2nd attempt playing the NEW 5 Dragons Red Edition slot by Aristocrat. This new version, along with the Yellow Edition introduces Hold and Spin to the 5 Dragons series. The Jin Cai Hao Yun feature is a combination of FireLink and All Aboard. 6 of the Choy symbols triggers this feature. Starting with the bottom 3 rows open, it's the typical hold and spin where you start with 3 spins that are reset if any additional prize lands. There are 3 extra rows up top that need to be unlocked based on prizes you collect. If the Choy symbol lands here, all unlocked prizes are added to your Total Win. This keeps going till you run out of spins. If the bottom 3 rows are filled, you win the the Grand Jackpot. During normal spins, the red envelope symbols may trigger the jackpot picking feature for the usual Mini, Minor, Major and Grand Jackpot prizes. Finally, free spins are triggered as usual with at least 3 coins landing left to right. The free game/multiplier selection is typical 5 Dragons, but in this version, there is a special zone in the middle. If a dragon lands there it can expand either up, down or both ways. You can potentially land multiple dragons which would multiply on top of the extra ways to pay. Taken at Green Valley Ranch Resort Casino in Henderson, NV.
