My first attempt playing the new versions of Spartacus and Lil Red slot machines. These are both Super Colossal Reels games. The game has the same dual reelsets like their original versions, but in a new presentation with overlapping screens. Wilds from reelset 1 still transfer to reelset 2, but you get new betting options. With each betting option, there are different features. The base feature are multiplying wilds on reel 5 of the 2nd reelset. You can bet higher to add Golden Wilds which are wilds that stick for one spin. Finally, you can a bit higher to also include Mega Wilds, which are wilds that cover 2 reels. Finally, this version also has progressives that are won if they land on reel 5 as part of a winning line. I like this version better than the originals, but just like the original - it was tough to trigger the bonus. At least with Spartacus. Lil Red triggered much quicker.
