The Dwarf Army feature puts up a bunch of shields. 1 Bilbo symbol is randomly added on each of the first 3 reels. Then, up to 14 more can be added. With, the Elf Army feature, 1 or 2 bonus symbols AND 3 or 4 ring/Arkenstone symbols will be placed on screen and held, making it easier to trigger a bonus. There are 2 types of bonuses in the game - Free Spins and Smaug Re-Spin. At least 3 scattered bonus symbols trigger free games. A wheel spin determines the number of games, up to 40. During free games, ring or Arkenstone symbols that land are sticky, but drop one row each spin. The Smaug Re-Spin can be triggered here and the free spins can be re-triggered. The Smaug Re-Spin feature can be triggered in the base or bonus games. This is a Hold and Spin feature. An extra spin is awarded when a ring lands. If a ring lands in a hot spot, a power up is awarded, which includes a 3x multiplier, additional credits per ring, all prizes awarded, etc. Smaug can also add additional hot spots.
